Jessiann and Orlando have know each other since they were very little.  They met in middle school and went on to high school and were even best friends at some point during their school years.  They share many memories, and stayed close even as adults but it wasn’t until 2013 that they reconnected and started dating.

Jessiann always loved a man in uniform, and Orlando seemed to fit the profile.  He is a retired Staff Sergeant in the US Marine Corp.  He went on to culinary school after his service in the military, and became a chef.

Orlando surprised Jessiann with an unexpected proposal as they were celebrating his new job as a Disney chef on July 4, 2015.  It was a magical proposal during the fireworks display at Disney in front of both their families.

They made it official this past Saturday at St Raymond Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the church’s parish hall.
